Benefits of the distance learning

BENEFITS OF THE DISTANCE LEARNING
This system allows combine professional and academic goals, and it has been generally developed for adult students and professionals. In order to enroll the best option should be to apply for a registered college that can issue legal diplomas and transcripts.

By taking distance learning courses the student will study at home or anywhere he/she wish. Usually, he/she will not attend any examination center. Some colleges offer systems (not online) based on textbooks sent by post or courier service. Then the student works on them and prepares reports according to the instructions provided and the acquired knowledge. When the program is customized the number of textbooks and reports assigned are different for each student and curriculum. In these cases these requirements are set during the admission process.

There are many types of Diplomas both of higher and not higher degree. Talking about the first ones you may have Bachelor, Masters and PhD. The second type uses to be related to professional diplomas. There are many different specialties that the student can combine with his/her personal desires, rhythm and possibilities: humanities, natural health and therapies, computers, sciences, technology, arts, communication, psychology, management and many others.

Higher education is not for everyone although it may be adequate for professionals worldwide who cannot attend the classical university education or simply they do not find the type of course or degree they are interested on in order to improve their personal background. Anyway, higher education is an input for life.

Private higher education is valid in many fields, but not in all. Acceptance criteria will vary depending on the institution, company or even country. It is very important to apply in colleges with status to issue the corresponding diplomas and transcripts susceptible to be legalize by the Hague Apostille or, alternatively, by the Embassy Legalization process (student country).

The process of accreditation is non-governmental and represents a voluntary and self-regulation process to ensure the academic quality of educational institutions. There are no worldwide accreditation standards. Accreditation is not equivalent to legality or recognition, it is a non-governmental and voluntary quality standard. BIU is accredited, recognized or member of several international bodies and meets the quality standards of such organizations in different countries. None of these international bodies are recognized by CHEA USA (Council of Higher Education Accreditation). CHEA is the most relevant accreditation standards reference for the USA.
